Depth & ground handling. On our mineralised Lincolnshire test paddock the Manticore held stable IDs at depths where single-frequency machines were guessing. Ground balance is quick and holds well across ploughed and pasture transitions.

Discrimination & separation. This is where the money goes. The 2D target trace plots ferrous and conductive properties on two axes, so a hammered coin sitting beside a nail reads as two distinct events rather than one mushy tone.
